So my little give for the day, was donating blood to the American Red Cross. I went to the Red Cross building, they let me walk in off the street. The whole process took only about 45 minutes from start to finish. After I was done I got free cookies and juice. So if you are ever in the area and would like some free cookies and juice, stop on by. They also let you make appointments.

Way to give blood. You had a very busy day. Thanks for inviting me to this blog, but I want an invite to your family blog too. I checked out the Mom & Me blog and loved your story about the wife reading a novel all day. I might have to borrow that one!
hi jennybug...thanks for visiting my blog! i love all of your blogs; i thought that i had a lot of work to do with 3--but you have even more! anyway, i used to give blood, but ever since the govt. decided that people who lived in, or were born in, or were born to anyone who ever lived in certain parts of Europe from the early '80's until about '90...could NOT give blood, because of the possibility they may have contracted the 'mad-cow' disease-i have been unable to give (they won't accept me, my husband, my daughter, or my son). we lived in germany from 1985-1989, and our daughter was born there in 1988. then we had a son here in the US in 1996--and NONE of us can give blood!! I think it's a travesty, really. Well, take care!
HI Jenny, I love this new blog. I truly believe that service will help you be happy. It sure works for me. I always get a little mad at John when I am sad, and he says, I know how you can be happy....I am thinking..new shoes, trip, Brighton, etc, but, no, he always, always says...SERVICE for others! I am sad too, that I can't give blood! (The Europe thing). Keep blogging, I love this blog.
